North Legon Little Campus (NLLC) was founded in September 2007. It provides a British style education with an international perspective, incorporating the best practices, methods and materials from educational systems around the world. The curriculum emphasizes inquiry and problem-solving, providing a well-rounded education that will equip students to become responsible global citizens.
NLLC is located in a spacious and secure campus in the high brow residential area of North Legon. We have small class groups to ensure close personal attention for each student.
The school strives to provide each child with the knowledge, skills and ethical understanding to help them achieve their personal goals, and be responsible citizens in an ever changing society. NLLC pledges to offer the highest quality international educational programs, using a process of continuous internal and external assessment, in a caring, tolerant and inclusive learning environment conducive to every individual having an opportunity to maximize his/her learning potential.
Students are provided with opportunities for self expression, innovation, initiative, a context for experimentation and experience blended with an understanding of traditional values, respect for teachers and elders to boldly face the world in all its vicissitudes and contingencies.
NLLC has invested heavily in in-house development programmes related to teaching methodologies, updating teachers’ subject knowledge and curriculum development in collaboration with international schools and universities.
North Legon Little Campus is located at North Legon, Accra. It is adjacent to Charismatic Evangelical Ministry (CEM). NLLC provides a safe, secure, positive and enjoyable environment for the young people entrusted to us. The school has well-ventilated classrooms, state-of-the-art teaching aids, a computer lab, a library and a large and modern play-ground.
Courses offered in the school are: English, Mathematics, Science, French, Spanish, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Computer Studies, Art and Design, Music, Physical Education, and Values & Ethics (Moral Education).
SAT is also offered at the end of each Key Stage to measure the child’s intellectual ability. This gives teachers and parents an insight into the child’s strength or weaknesses. Once established, extra attention will be given to the areas where it is most needed.
NLLC has a well qualified and dedicated team of teachers who undergo continuous professional development.
